Queensland Men's Shed Association Inc. Mini Shed Expo 22.07.2016 @ Ayr.

QMSA, together with the Burdekin Men’s Shed Association Inc, will hold a one day event that provides opportunities for Men’s Shedders in North Qld, to get together, socialise, exchange ideas, make new friends & useful contacts while showing off their successes.

Queensland Men's Sheds Construct Brisbane Sign for G20

Eight Queensland Sheds were coordinated by QMSA to each build one letter to form the iconic BRISBANE sign for the G 20 World Leaders Conference of 2014.  The original sign stood on Southbank forming the background to the New Broadcasts from the Southbank location made while the historic G20 Conference was held in November 2014. It is estimated that 360 Million people world-wide watched those news broadcasts and saw the BRISBANE Sign constructed by Queensland Men's Sheds.

The Structural Engineer who designed that sign was a Shedder (Allan Williams). Although the sign was only required to have a life of 3 weeks it easily withstood the 140km/hour winds that struck Brisbane in the devastating storm experienced later that November.

The sign has since been replaced with a smaller version of somewhat different appearance and it is made of different materials.

All Power to You!

Four good mates share their journey with arthritis

“In March 2014, four mates from a couple of Queensland Men's Sheds came together to swap a story or two over a couple of burnt snags, share their experiences of living with various forms of arthritis, and solve the problems of the modern world…”.

These were the humble beginnings of All Power to You! A video resource for men with arthritis, developed jointly with the Queensland Men's Shed Association and Arthritis Queensland.
